In the Community:

 

I believe that community and sport go hand-in-hand, and that the success and empowerment of social certain groups is largely reliant on a solid community support structure.    

 

Community-based arts practitioners bring members of a community together to improve wellbeing and solve problems, build relationships and get involved in ways that rebuild social capital. 

In addition to supplying event photography to corporate and non-corporate event clients, I am dedicated to the continued development of my community visual art practice, and subsequent support to the local community. 

 

 




 

Ongoing Projects Include:

 

'12 MOON SWIMS', a photographic and filmed journey exploring a very special 'blue-space' created by Brighton's Salty Seabirds.  Proudly awarded the Irene Mensah Community Artist Bursary, the project launches at Brighton Fringe on May 23rd - 25th 2020.

'CHAMPIONING WOMEN IN SPORT',  offering free photoshoots to up-and-coming young female athletes to encourage positive and appropriate visibility and representation for potential sponsors, for the purposes of career progression. For more information;
